LOW TIDE

The Volta Building

This downtown Seattle apartment building is an example of private development/public art. Low Tide is an illustration of a water reflection in the Puget Sound. The tile mural flows downhill towards the source of its inspiration. Photographed, drawn then screen printed onto 12” x 12” tile, Low Tide spans 21 horizontal feet on the vertical wall at the base of the building.
